My name is Jonathan Isaac Baddouche. Rav Abraham Baddouche זצ״ל was my sandak, and his connection to my family means a great deal to me.

My grandfather, Isaac Baddouche ז״ל, was a giver who helped his own family and others in need. His example, and Rav Abraham’s teachings on justice and tzedakah, inspire the movement I am building.

Through One Dollar Movement, I want to carry that generosity forward: bring people together, make helping accessible, and support families with dignity. I hope to honor these connections through my actions and live in a way that would make Rav Abraham proud. One dollar is a beginning. Helping one another is the purpose.

No pledge entries, outgoing notifications, payment attempts, or retries during Shabbat or Yom Tov. Excluded daily and weekly occurrences are skipped; monthly payments move to the next permissible day.

Private information will use encrypted storage, role-limited access, conflict recusal, documented decisions, and permanent audit history. No family’s identity or documents will appear publicly.

The United States is our first operational phase. The platform is being designed for future country-by-country expansion as local safeguards and partnerships become ready.

Worldwide document understanding

Future tools may organize documents from different countries, languages, currencies, and formats. Uncertain or unfamiliar documents will always go to an authorized human reviewer and will never cause an automatic rejection.

Family business independence

A future approved program may fund startup costs and temporarily retain up to a 20% interest, recycle returns to help more families, and transfer that interest to the family after up to five years so the family owns 100%. The final structure requires rabbinic, legal, tax, financial, and board approval.

Rabbinic leadership. One shared mission.

The planned structure includes independent rabbinic leadership alongside qualified legal, financial, and community professionals. A broader rabbinic network will be invited to encourage participation and listen to local needs. No name or endorsement will be shown until formally confirmed.
