Founding Registration Terms
These terms govern use of the $1 Movement website and its founding-stage registration forms.
What is active now
The website accepts founding-supporter registrations and private U.S. help registrations. It does not currently collect donations, payment methods, applicant documents, make assistance decisions, issue or fund cards, or fund businesses.
Founding-supporter registration
Choosing a future $1 monthly, weekly, or daily rhythm records your present interest in participating. It is not a charge, an enforceable promise to donate, a tax receipt, ownership, or a guarantee of membership benefits. Any future contribution will require separate notice, disclosures, and authorization before money can move.
U.S. help registry
The help registry is currently for people residing in the United States. Registering a need is not a full application and does not establish eligibility, priority, approval, an assistance amount, or a promise of funding. Do not upload or send documents through the founding form.
Emergencies
The website is not an emergency service. If you or another person faces immediate danger or an urgent medical or safety crisis, contact local emergency services or an appropriate local crisis resource now.
Future plans
Descriptions of bank connection, document tools, a Dignity Card, worldwide expansion, business funding, rabbinic leadership, and assistance programs describe future possibilities only. They may change and require funding, regulated partners, legal and security review, rabbinic and board approval, and operational readiness.
Responsible use
Provide information you reasonably believe is accurate and submit only for yourself or someone you are authorized to represent. Do not impersonate another person, interfere with the service, or use the forms for fraud, harassment, or unlawful activity.
Updates and availability
The movement may update these terms as the project develops and will identify the current version. Registration features may be corrected, paused, or closed when needed for privacy, security, legal, or capacity reasons.

Planned giving: pledge $1 per eligible day, week, or month. Reminders follow your chosen rhythm; eligible pledges are combined into one monthly payment after separate payment authorization.
No pledge entries, outgoing notifications, payment attempts, or retries during Shabbat or Yom Tov. Excluded daily and weekly occurrences are skipped; monthly payments move to the next permissible day.
Registration emails may be delayed until Shabbat or Yom Tov ends at your selected location.
